Hey there, great that you are here!
I went from getting useless AI responses to game-changing design insights with this simple 4-step prompt structure:
When ChatGPT came out, I didn't know you can be "bad at prompting", but I was.
And with it, I never got the output I wanted.
After over 1000+ prompts, I finally get Claude to give me the output I want for my design tasks.
Here is the 4-step structure:
1. Set the expertise
Let the AI know which area of expertise you are talking about, and set the context of its knowledge.
2. Tell it what to do
I always wrote this first, but it's better to put this part after you set the expertise.
3. Specify the output
If you're not specific, Claude sometimes even codes up a chart. You can not only specify the structure of the output, but also the voice and tone.
4. Give context
Context always last. Not sure why, maybe that's how LLMs think?
